A Hill trekking program

A hill trekking program was conducted by the Institute to refresh the students at ‘Pemadevi fort or the Pemgiri fort’ a country side pleasure. ‘Pemadevi fort’ is located at short distance from Institute which is the one of the most famous historical place. The aim of this picnic was to revive students to give something along with studies & boosting their stamina.




Ganesh festival 2016

Ganesh festival was celebrated in the Global Institute of Management with much devotion & enthusiasm. A special puja was held to worship the Lord Ganesha this occasion was graced by presence of Director, O.S., Staff member, Students. This year Ganesh festival was celebrated from 17th Sept. to 23rd Sept. in a special way at ourInstitute.

Various activities have been arranged by the students on all Seven Days. On the 7th day, the Immersion procession was carried on by saying “Ganapati Bappa Moraya, Pudhachya Varshi Lavkar Yaa”.




Annual cultural Event 'Sanskruti 2017'

The cultural Programme 'Sanskruti 2017' has provided a common platform to exhibit the skills and hidden talent of the students. The main motto was to conserve various cultures in society & to know the students about them. It was celebrated from 17/02/2017 to 23/02/2017.

In this, Students have celebrated & enthusiastically participated in Saree Day, Mismatch day, Antakshari, Traditional Day, Twins Day, Musical Chair, Chocolate Day, Feta Day and also participated in various games like Chess, Carom, Badminton, Cricket, Volley ball etc.

Programme was concluded on 23/02/2017 with Annual Day Event including Cultural Activities and Fishpond. Program was a great success. Students have thoroughly enjoyed these event. Programme was concluded after distribution of prizes with mementos.




Tree Plantation

Trees are important tools in the fight to stave off global warming, because they absorb and store the key greenhouse gas emitted by our cars and power plants, carbon dioxide (CO2), before it has a chance to reach the upper atmosphere where it can help trap heat around the Earth’s surface. Trees takes in carbon dioxide it gives out oxygen n all animals and plants need oxygen to live and for your extra information they breathe in oxygen at night.

So, Global Institute of Management has organized Tree Plantation in College Campus, near about 150 saplings were planted during the event.

HILL TREKKING

In order to impart outbound training to the students, this year also we have organized hill trek activity on 21st September 2016.The basic intention of this activity was to take the students closer to the nature and to increase their physical strength & stamina. Students enjoyed this and thus their minds were nurtured with nature’s essence.





Dahi­handi

Dahi­handi program was organized by Global Institute of Management. Dr. A. A. Deshmukh (Director), Shri. K.D. Mulay (Office Superintendent), Prof. Lakhan Lohiya, HOD of GIOM, inaugurated the function and encouraged the participants for the game of Dahi­handi. Four groups were formed. It was an awesome experience for the students as well as faculty members. The evaluation of the game was based on the Management functions like planning, Controlling, Directing, Organizing, etc. and Management practices.




REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION & TREE PLANTATION


Global Institute of Management celebrated Republic Day on 26th January 2016, in Presence of Hon’ble Raosaheb Yewale (Founder President of Dnyanvardhini Shikshan Sanstha Sangamner), Dr. A.A. Deshmukh (Director of Global Institute of Management,
Sangamner). Dr. Deshmukh shared his thoughts & gave speech about sacrifice of freedom fighters, Need of Sustainable Development & growth of Indian Economy & Corrective action to be taken by Young students. He motivated students for Tree Plantation in Institute Campus. Students, Faculty & staff members were present on the occasion.





International Yoga Day 2018

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2018 at Dnyanwardhini Shikshan Santa’s Global Institute of Management, Sangamner to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in the Institute. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. All Faculties got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. During the course of “Yogabhyas”, the Yoga teacher also narrated the usefulness of different “Asanas” as a precautionary measure, in curing many Diseases and the usefulness of Yoga in the overall wellbeing of a human being.

Ganesh festival was celebrated in the Global Institute of Management with much dedication & fervor. A special puja was held to worship the Lord Ganesha this occasion was graced by presence of Director, Management Representative, Staff member, Students. This year Ganesh festival was celebrated in a special way at our Institute. Student’s experiences immersion of Ganesha at Pond which is near to the Institute. After Ganesh immersion everybody misses with heavy soul. But sadness never longer, next year bappa will come again so. “Ganapati Bappa Moraya, Pudhachya Varshi Lavkar Yaa”.




A visit to Pemgiri Fort & Asia’s largest Banyan Tree

A hill trekking program was conducted by the Global Institute of Management on 11th Sept 2018, to refresh the students at Pemgiri Fort & Asia’s largest Banyan Tree, a country side pleasure. This fort is located in Sangamner taluka of Ahmadnagar district. It is located at short distance from Institute which is the one of the most pleasant place. The aim of this picnic was to revive students to give something along with studies & boosting their stamina.
This trek was the part of outbound training program. The basic intention of this activity was to take the students’ closer to the nature as well as to know the importance of historical places.
