Teachers day 2016

Students of Global Institute of Management has organized Teacher’s day program on   5th September 2016. The Chief Guest for the Programme was Dr. Anand Deshmukh (Director of GIOM) & Prof. Lakhan Lohiya (HOD of GIOM), Faculty, Staff and Students were present on the occasion of Teacher’s day.

Students have co­ordinated and conducted the lectures as per the timetable. The best teachers from the students were selected on the basis of some parameters. Swapnil Gosavi (MBA-­I), Shahrukh Khan (MBA-­II) awarded as best teachers. The 1st year and 2nd Year students were actively participated in the program. The Students shared their views and experiences about the Teachers Day.





Guest lecture on “Leadership and Motivation”

Guest lecture was organized on the topic “Leadership and Motivation” By Mr. Hundekari (CMD Splendid freedom technologies, Babhaleshwar, Ahmednagar) on 8th Sept. 2016.The lecture was delivered on Leadership, how it can be build up within, what is role in our life and how can we achieve long lasting motivation. It was further helpful in understanding the opportunities for students to acquire the job skills, knowledge, attitudes, perception to create professional identity and he also solved all queries & doubt of the student related with specific functional area.





Guest lecture on the topic “Meditation and Study"

Guest lecture on the topic “Meditation and Study” was conducted by Mr. Jahagirdar (HR Manager at ADF Sinner, Nasik) on 30th Aug, 2016. He explained the tricks on how to study under pressure. He has highlighted the importance of meditation to tackle the tension and stress arising from the situations. The student has taken active participation in discussion with the speaker.

National Conference 2017



As per the practice of GIOM, Sangamner; this year also a two days National conference wasorganized on 30th & 31st January 2017 on the topic­ “Government Initiatives for economic development of India­ - A current scenario” in association with Savitribai Phule Pune University under Quality Improvement Program.

Mr.Yamaji Malkar (Trustee, Arthakranti Prathishtahan) was a chief guest, Dr. Arun Gaikwad sir (Vice principal, Sangamner College) was a guest of honor, Dr. K. N. Bawale sir (Director, Inspire academy, Pune) as guest of honor, Mr. Raosaheb Yewale sir (President DSS), Researchers & Research scholars from various regions were present.

Mr.Yamaji Malkar sir has thrown light on Arthakranti foundation and working of it along with requirements to enhance and strengthen of Indian Economy. Dr.Arun Gaikwad sir focused on Financial Inclusions & Economy. Dr.Bawale sir has given guidance tostudents regarding human tendency& economic development with problems for growth of economy.

Research scholars have presented the papers & total 40 papers were received & published in “Information & Research Trends “Volume 5, Issue ­1, Jan 2017, ISSN­2320­2327 Special Issue on National Conference on Government Initiatives for Economic development of India­-  A current scenario”.




Guest Lecture by Mr. Brijesh Rai

Guest Lecture by Mr. Brijesh Rai has been organized on 21st Sept, 2015 on the topic "Present Marketing Scenario and Strategies with special reference to Cement Industries in India". He is having more than six years of experience in Cement Industry has shared his enormous experience in marketing of Cement Industry & also discussed the current manpower requirement of Cement Industry in upcoming years. He has tried to escalate the queries of students about the Marketing strategies of Cement Industry. He emphasized that, more formalized engagement with industry is particularly important. In this Interactive session students have realized the actual ground realities of marketing field. The programs ended with thank giving speech by the student.

WORKSHOP ON SOFT SKILLS, PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT & INTERVIEW SKILLS BY MR. SAURAV BHAUMIK

GIOM has organized a one day workshop to groom the personality of MBA students on the topic “Soft Skill, Personality Development and Interview Skills” By Mr. Saurabh Bhaumik (Director, Naukri Station, Pune) on 29th September, 2015.

In the first session of the program he has taught the importance of Communication skill in Soft Skill and Personality Development. In first session he demonstrated the concepts of Business Communication like Verbal­, Non- verbal Communication, Body Language, Gestures, ­Postures, Manners­, Etiquettes, and types of Hand Shaking with their importance.

In afternoon session he has taught the concept & need of Personality Development. In that he included all the concepts of Organizational Behavior and general Management like Time Management, Attitude, Decision Making, Leadership, Motivation, Confidence and many more with their practical implications. He explained Interview Skills that students may acquire before facing the Interview. In that he explained pre interview, during interview & after interview preparations and communication skills. On this occasion Mr. Saurabh has conducted Mock interviews for participated students. He has tried to escalate the queries of students about the Soft skills, Personality development & Interview Skills. Students actively participated & involved in the session.




Motivational Speech by Smita V. Gune

Guest lecture on Motivation and Personality Development was organized on 16th November 2016 in Global Institute of Management. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Smita V. Gune; she is well known soft skill trainer. In this session she focused on need of self-independence for the girls as well the requirement on discipline to be successful in the life of human beings. She has also focused on the required skillset expected by the industry from the students.

Mock Interview Preparation



Induction Program 2018

Students come with diverse thoughts, backgrounds & perceptions. Hence it becomes important to help them adjust to the new environment & inculcate the ethos of the institution with a sense of larger purpose. Global Institute conducted Induction program on 14th Sept 2018. It is basically conducted to introduce new enrolled to introduce in brief what actually MBA is and what they have to do in upcoming two years. There is introduction between Students and faculties, syllabus, campus etc..




Guest Lecture on "Sant Gadge Baba- A Social Reformar"

Global Institute of Management has organized a Guest lecture on 30th August 2018. On the occasion of Swachata Pakhwada. In the presence of Dr. R. R. Takale (Director, GIOM), Prof. L.J. Lohiya (Program Coordinator, GIOM) and Chief Guest Shri. Rajendra Palghadmal.

Shri. Padghalamal focused on life of Sant Gadge baba. He also said that Sant Gadge Baba was a Social Reformer. He creates awareness about cleanliness among the people.




Teachers Day 2018

“Teachers can change lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenges”

Global Institute of Management celebrated Teachers Day every Year.  Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day.

A celebration conducted at our Institute by our students on 5th September 2018. The whole function was planned by Event Management Coordinator with Student Coordination Committee. Students actively & enthusiastically participated in Teacher’s Day.
